Built to Perform.
Made to Matter.

Every pair of socks or StepChange shirt starts as post-consumer recycled plastic — engineered to move, breathe, and outlast, while keeping millions of bottles out of our waterways.

Engineered for the Long Run — Literally

We didn't set out to make an "eco" product that you'd wear once out of guilt. We focused on making the best-performing socks and shirts on the market — they just happen to be made the right way.

Founded on the Water. Run with the Same Purpose.

StepChange started with the idea that we shouldn’t have to separate daily choices from the long term well being of the beauty around us. Our founders have a deep connection to the coast — one in Naples, FL, the other on Cape Cod, MA — watching red tide, algae blooms, and rising plastic litter change the beaches they loved.

Today, the brand is run by a team with roots in the Great Lakes Region — different waters, but the same idea: we live near it, play in it, and don't want to hand our kids a polluted version of it. Ocean, lake, or river — freshwater or salt — pollution doesn't stop at a coastline, and neither does our mission.

Every StepChange Makes a Difference

A portion of every purchase goes directly to organizations doing the hands-on work of ocean and waterway restoration — reef installation, cleanup efforts, and habitat repair.

Proceeds from every purchase fund amazing partners doing amazing work in reef restoration, plastic removal, and habitat rebuilding
